Wishing Well Field is Lockhart’s very own field of dreams. Our sandlot baseball oriented event venue is located just 8 miles north of the Lockhart square and 25 miles south of downtown Austin.

Like The Long Time in Austin, Wishing Well Field is a perfect venue for your next creative event or party, specializing in kickball/softball/baseball-themed celebrations.

Our rentals usually take one of two routes: 1) we work with you to design and execute your perfect sandlot experience, including coordinating activities (home run derbys, screen printing, yoga!) and vendors (food and beverages) OR 2) we give you the keys to the gate and let your imagination run wild.

Amenities and site specifications include:

  • Approximately 500-person capacity (with room for lots more appropriate planning)

  • Sandlot-sized baseball/softball/kickball field complete with home and visitor dugouts and a scoreboard

  • Art gallery (versatile house which has also served as a bar/lounge, photo booth, movie theater, escape room, etc.)

  • Concession/Bar area with access to water, electricity, and refrigeration/freezer

  • 5 restrooms

  • Stage (with house PA system for rent)

  • Indoor/outdoor meeting spaces

  • Small kitchenette with food storage and prep space

  • Outfield camping (for multi-day events)
